Gartex Texprocess India 2021, New Delhi.

The Gartex Texprocess India 2021 show, scheduled to be held in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, from the 6th to the 8th of Aug 2021, promises to be one very interesting and exciting show for the garment and textile machinery industry segments. This show will later be replicated in Mumbai also, but the dates for that edition have still not been finalized or announced.

The most interesting aspect of the Gartex Texprocess India 2021 show, New Delhi edition, is that right from the very beginning it has been planned as a hybrid show. Basically it will be held in Pragati Maidan, the new, revamped trade show venue in New Delhi, in the physical format with exhibitors and attendees both present physically at the venue, and it will be accompanied by a virtual edition as well. That should be a very interesting format. The hybrid shows are probably going to be the new normal, as they do present the best of both the worlds: physical presence and one-on-one interaction for those who prefer it, and virtual attendance for those who would like it that way. One makes it more interactive and fun, the other makes it more viable and economic. And in these strange times of pandemic, the second option even becomes necessary.

Anyhow, without digressing further, the Gartex Texprocess India Show, promises to be a comprehensive trade show for the garment and textile machinery industries, and will target decision makers from these segments who are looking to explore a one-stop selling and sourcing platform that showcases products, services and technologies in these areas. The show in itself, will be segmented into two parts: the embroidery zone, and the garmenting and apparel machinery zone, for a better experience. The show will incorporate, the Digitex show, the Fabrics & Trims show, the Denim show and the India Laundry show. Spread over 10,000sqm. of floor area, with about 150 exhibitors and companies, showcasing nearly 300 brands, the show promises to be an exclusive event that serious decision makers from the relevant industries will find hard to ignore or miss. Especially since this show is co-hosted by Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India Pvt. Ltd. and Mex Exhibitions Pvt. Ltd., both names that assure one of quality events and trade shows.

St. Petersburg International Motor Show 2021

The St. Petersburg International Motor Show, is a very interesting one for the Auto sector. It is one of those very few fairs or trade shows that have a history associated with them. The show started in 1992 as the AutoWorld Expo, and has been a regular annual event, organized by the firm FAREXPO, and has been a well represented and attended fair since then. In fact, so much so that it has not only garnered a lot of high praise from industry experts, it has actually played an important role in the development of the automotive market in the city. However, over the past few years, with the automotive industry changing drastically and unrecognizably, the AutoWorld Expo, has evolved into the St. Petersburg International Motor Show, that is now co-organized by FAREXPO and Avtoselkhozmash-Holding OJSC (Moscow).

A very interesting fact about the fair is that, in spite of the fact that there is very little time left for the fair, the official website of the event, still details the "upcoming" 2019 edition, and only fleetingly mentions the 2021 one. The fair is supposed to have three distinct sections; Cars, Auto components and one unique section called the Autofestival. The Autofestival, is an interesting section that will display retro cars, exclusive tuning of production cars, mototechnics, unique samples of cars from fanclub collections etc.

Although the information shared by the organizers on their official website, is sketchy at best, the fair still looks very interesting and promising. Especially so, because of the support from the many local industry associations, and because of the fact that it has been a very well attended fair over the last so many years. Plus, it has that Autofestival section, that promises to give it just the required amount of glamour.

Our Designs for the Automechanika Frankfurt Exhibition

We at Studio One Designs Pvt. Ltd., design and build booths at various exhibitions and trade shows all over the world. Unfortunately, sometimes, as it happens with everybody else, we design, but do not get to build. Sometimes our designs are shopped around, and the lowest bidder gets to build it. But, sometimes, our designs just get passed over, and never make it to the discussion table with the client.

Here, we showcase some of our designs that we prepared for the Automechanika Frankfurt Fair, which we loved ..... but somehow they did not meet the clients' expectations, and ultimately they never saw the light of day!

We have smudged out the company names for obvious reasons, although, and in spite of the fact that the copyrights belong to us. These are a few of the stand designs that we had proposed to our clients for the last edition of the Automechanika Fair to be held in Frankfurt, Germany. Unfortunately, these never got built.

We are now ready and looking forward to taking on clients for this years edition of the Automechanika Fair, to design their corporate identities and their spaces, and to give them unique and highly customized solutions to their displaying needs at the fair.

Do get in touch with us, and we will get back to you. we look forward to associate with you and your friends and associates.

Stand design for Automechanika 2012 at Frankfurt, Germany

After an exhausting month, marketing our exhibition stand design and construction / fabrication services for ACHEMA 2012, to be held in June in Frankfurt, we are now about to start marketing our exhibition booth design services for the other significant fair in Frankfurt, Germany ...... the Automechanika 2012. The Automechanika Frankfurt, is one of the largest shows for the automobile and its ancilliary industries anywhere in the world, and is organised by Messe Frankfurt, once every two years.

Automechanika 2012, Frankfurt, Germany.

This year the Automechanika Frankfurt fair will be held at the Messe Frankfurt fairgrounds from the 11th to the 16th of Sept 2012. And if figures from the last edition of the show at Frankfurt are any indication (4,471 exhibitors and 153,837 visitors), this is going to be one very big show. With the biggest names in the automotive industry participating in the fair and showcasing their products for the world to see, and big ticket product launches anticipated all round, the show is already attracting attention from all over the world. It is one trade show that anybody even remotely connected to or interested in anything that has anything to do with automobiles, cannot afford to miss.

Naturally, that translates to huge opportunities, not only for people in the automotive or its ancilliary industries, but also people like us, who design and fabricate stalls for exhibitions all over the world. The way we design a stall in any exhibition, decides how a company is viewed by the visitors. We are the hidden factor that projects the brand image or the corporate identity of a company. Our services may seem limited to product placement in an exhibition stand, but it is way more than simply that.

Over the next few posts, I will be looking at potential design trends for the design of booths at the Automechanika Frankfurt show. I will also be studying the way stands were designed at the previous edition of the Automechanika Frankfurt show in 2010, as an indication of what remained to be said at that point of time.

All exhibitors at the Automechanika Frankfurt 2012 show, are invited to discuss their stand design requirements with our team at Studio One Designs Pvt. Ltd. and evaluate for themselves our abilities in designing meaningful exhibits for their stands. We take pride in the fact that we deal with each exhibitor at any exhibition or trade show, anywhere in the world, as a unique individual or entity. We appreciate the fact that each exhibitor comes with a seperate baggage containing a unique combination of taste, requirements, budget and design sensibilities and we treat each individual exhibitor as such, with the utmost of respect and patience. Do drop us a line at studioonedpl@gmail.com and we will definitely get back to you, to discuss your requirements of exhibition stand design at the Automechanika Frankfurt 2012 fair, at greater length.

The Auto Expo 2012, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, India

Recently, I was able to find time to visit the Auto Expo that took place in New Delhi, and have a first hand look at design trends and ideas for an Auto Show. It was an interesting visit, that threw up not only interesting ideas but also highlighted how the same or almost similar idea can be used and reused in different contexts.

The Delhi Auto Expo 2012, as expected, was very vibrant and inspiring, with some very interesting design ideas, and some not so interesting ideas. The crowds milling around in the halls that were displaying the automobiles bore testimony to the glitter and glam of an Auto Show. Comparatively the auto component stalls wore a pretty deserted look. It led me to think that it is not only the content or design of a booth that attracts crowds, it is the glam-quotient associated with it too. Or maybe it is only the glam-quotient that attracts the crowds. How that effects serious business in a corporate fair is anybodies' guess.

Getting back to the design part of the Auto Expo, the Ashok Leyland hall was very well laid out and display was interesting too. So was the TATA hall. The display of the Pixel at the TATA hall and the Jaguars displayed right next to it attracted a lot of attention. The way the hall had been laid out for easy movement and viewing was the highlight from a design point-of-view.

Auto Show 2012
The Ashok Leyland hall was the perfect example of how with very minimal design elements, but a very effective layout the maximum possible effect can be achieved. Notice that the ceiling element is the only thing that can qualify as a design element, but that one element alone is so powerful that it enhances the overall experience without, in any way hindering with the display.

Auto Expo 2012
The Tata Pixel concept car!! An absolutely stunning beauty, a perfect example of the adage that good things come in small packages!! Although ironically the Tata Motors hall was a humongous display, but very effectively done.

Then there were the innovative display ideas and the innovative display ideas and the innovative display ideas ............ Please go through the next set of photographs to understand the repetition of words above!!
